Better yet, if you have the space, stage each activity following the previous session. For example:
- when you have washed and are putting away the supper dishes, set out your coffee cup or oatmeal pot for the next morning's breakfast.
- as you are removing your stinky clothes from your gym bag, stock it with fresh clean clothing so that it is all ready to grab the next time.
- have a station at the door where you keep your runners, gloves, hat, and coat handy to grab when going for a run or heading to work.
- have a reading/meditation/morning pages station where the supplies you need are on a shelf or in a box next to your chair
- store the pet food within arm's reach of the pet bowls
- keep the supplies you may need in your handbag, briefcase, or knapsack stocked.
