I, for one, am happy to be educated on these things, because many of them are invisible to me. I have no way of knowing about infra red sensors failing for POC unless someone tells me. We can’t change the world if we don’t know.
I was very happy when Crayola came out with their box of skin tones so that kids would have more choice when colouring themselves, their friends, and their families.
I saw the dark toned bandaids at the store a few weeks ago and wanted to buy them because I was so excited, even though no one on my family is dark enough for them to be a match.
