I have been experimenting with Grammarian Pro rather than Grammarly. It hooks into the operating system and works in most Apple windows. It even works in LibreOffice, which doesn't obey a lot of the Apple system rules. I haven't tried it on Safari, but you might give it a try (7 day trial).
