I use all of them.

Primarily folders, which are my roles, subjects, or projects. They are hierarchal and are replicated across all of my systems/platforms.

Tags, I don't use a lot. Status indicators at times, or linking concepts between groups of notes.

Linking, again not a lot. Linking a concept to a reference, breaking down a very large note into smaller pieces (Refactor plugin), linking between my series wiki notes and the books that are referred to in the articles. I also make use of unlinked mentions at times.

Properties - I use structure yaml for book chapters, promotion submissions, etc. If I want a tabular listing of the characters and settings for each chapter, a list of notes or todo items, etc. I have all of the queries set up and ready to go. Because I use these over and over, I have templates set up and I only need to change the folder that is being queried to the right book/project.

I make extensive use of keywords in filenames and QuickSwitcher. It is super quick to find what I am looking for with one or two keywords. I don't use Global Search as often, it will usually give me too many hits.
