Yes, I agree completely. One of the pluses for me of using Obsidian and plain text/md files was that they could be accessed on any system with any viewer/text editor/word processor. I could search using system searches, I could tap the space bar to preview them in the Finder and be able to read them, etc. I don't want to just be able to open the files from within Obsidian. My hard drive is a filing cabinet and I want to be able to go to the right folder, open it up, and see my files arranged in a logical way.
